Barcelona Pavilion Analytique
For my analytique I chose to do a nice modern design by Mies. I decided the Barcelona Pavilion would be an interesting structure to draw with many angles and detailed granite designs. I love abstract patterns and i got lost in detailing the walls and sculptures.
I composed my analytique of an exterior isometric perspective flowing above into an interior view leading to the adjacent exterior view.
I am really stoked on how nicely this drawing turned out and this project got me really excited about doing more work like this.

For this design I decided to utilize the space to serve as one of the already existing purposes. Many people use this space to walk to and from school, so my my idea stems from changing the bleak and unaesthetic parking lot into an enjoyable nature walk. This way people can have a small bit of serenity entering and exiting the school. There will be a curved path lined with bamboo that overhangs to create an enclosure with protection from the sun to serve as the walkway with two benches located inside. The path will serve as a two way path with openings at either end of the enclosure. Outside of the bamboo path there will be small pavilions nestled into the curves of the path to provide leisure space and and an area of true structure. Focusing on maintaining an organic flow throughout this park, there will also be trees purposefully scattered about the available space as well. Lastly grass and stone will fill in all of the remaining negative to space to maximize the natural atmosphere.

This makes it easy to navigate around to these areas while also having access to the common living area as well as the outside area as well. The master bedroom is located next to the ADA compliant room for peace of mind and safety in the circumstance of the paraplegic being in need, while also maintaining privacy by the shape of the rooms as well. The other three bedrooms are located next to each other for efficiency and ease of use for things like bathrooms and the kitchen. This design is structured around the paraplegic giving him the most space, privacy, and ease of access to other parts of the house to be used however he desires.
